Honoring A Pearl Harbor Veteran

This man is Marvin A. Moore. He was a WWII veteran and a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack. While serving in the military, he received many awards, including: The Bronze Star, The Philippine Liberation Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal with four battle stars, Good Conduct Medal and a Combat Infantry Badge. He passed away Monday October 15, 2007.

Last year, Marcia Potter, his daughter, contacted me about helping her record his December 7, 1941 testimony like my father. Here is the video of his eye witness account. May we never forget these heroes.

Thank you so much for your help with Dad's video. I wish you could have known him. He was such a treasure.

This is so wonderful. We miss Pop like crazy, and you have helped create a media legacy for him. My daughter (Pop's great-granddaughter) is studying WWII in her 5th grade AG class, and she will be sharing this interview of her Pepaw with her mates.

Pop was the best of men. Thanks, again, for publishing this on your site.

Marshall,
I have forwarded your blogsite link to two colleagues @ Bucyrus High School. I know they will be very interested in the eyewitness account of the Pearl Harbor bombing and WW II, in general. Thanks for the nice addition.
