Things are moving along at lightning speed. Here is Elaine with her Mother of the Bride beautiful wedding dress

DUI Drysuit Day at Gilboa

Wow, what a weekend. Friday, I went to Gilboa Quarry in northwest Ohio and met up with Jamie, Denny, and Bob. This is Jamie's vintage VW Van, formerly owned by his Uncle. His Uncle took this van to Woodstock.


Saturday was DUI Drysuit Day, where you got to test out DUI Drysuits. For you non-divers, there are wetsuits and there are drysuits. Drysuits seal out the water, therefore keeping you warm in cold water.


And, here I am testing out a drysuit. It really did keep me warmer than my wetsuit.

Here is Jessica and Dan, DUI staff. Jessica was very helpful to me in the donning of the drysuit.


Here is Dan and Kevin. Kevin sent me the invite announcement and I am glad that he did. This is the second time I have hooked up diving with Kevin, we dove at Portage Quarry once last year.


By the way, I got word that I left the event too soon. At the dinner, my name was called for a prize, but you had to be present to win. Oh well, it was still an enjoyable day.

This is Jim Lizer who will be providing the Master of Ceremonies and DJ work for the wedding receptions. He is a really funny guy and we feel that the reception is good hands and will run smoothly.
